Amritpal’s aide Papalpreet brought back to Punjab, produced in Ajnala Court

Tarn Taran (Punjab), April 11, 2025: Papalpreet Singh, a close aide of MP Amritpal Singh, has been brought back to Punjab from Dibrugarh Jail in Assam and presented before the Ajnala Court today. Papalpreet had been lodged in Assam’s Dibrugarh Jail under the National Security Act (NSA).
Following the expiry of his NSA detention, Punjab Police initiated the process to transfer him back to the state. He was successfully brought to Punjab and formally presented in court as part of ongoing legal proceedings.
Before Papalpreet, seven to eight associates of Amritpal Singh had already been brought back to Punjab from Assam. With this latest transfer, Amritpal Singh is now the only associate still lodged in Dibrugarh Jail.
