VWS promotes holistic growth with ‘No Bag Day’ initiative
Ferozepur, April 27, 2025: In a pioneering move towards the holistic development of students, Vivekananda World School has been celebrating 'No Bag Day' every Saturday, announced Dr. S. N. Rudra, Director of the school. This initiative frees students from the burden of academic books, encouraging them to engage in creative and co-curricular activities.
Highlighting the activities held this Saturday, Dr. Rudra shared that students enthusiastically participated in events like Newspaper Dress Competition, Flameless Cooking, and Greeting Card Making. Adding to the excitement, a grand Pool Party and Picnic were organised on the school premises. An inspirational movie was also screened for the children, which they enjoyed with popcorn.
Dr. Rudra emphasised that the core objective of 'No Bag Day' is to uncover students' hidden talents and offer a robust platform for their overall personality development. "This innovative concept provides students with practical and creative experiences beyond conventional learning," he said.
He further added, “‘No Bag Day’ not only eases academic pressure but also gives students a golden opportunity to learn new skills. Our mission is to ensure that students excel academically while mastering essential life skills to face future challenges with confidence.”
