  Chandigarh, May 9, 2025 –All market areas will remain closed from 7 PM today in Chandigarh. Only emergency services, such as chemist shops, will be permitted to operate during this time. Chandigarh DC Nishant Kumar Yadav announced this.
  
  “Notably, this order applies only for today. The administration will issue further directives after assessing the situation.
