The initiative, led by the Youth Akali Dal Halka Ghanaur team, drew participation from hundreds of children, youth, and devotees who gathered to have turbans respectfully tied by sewadars, symbolizing pride and cultural continuity.
Youth Akali Dal President Sarabjeet Singh Jhinjer emphasized the significance of the effort, stating, “This initiative is not just about tying turbans—it is about reconnecting with our spiritual heritage, upholding our values, and honoring the identity given to us by our Gurus.”
The event commenced with an Ardaas led by Baba Inder Singh Ji Kar Sewa Wale and Baba Amrik Singh Ji Hira Bagh Wale, who offered prayers and reflected on the profound contributions of Guru Amardas Ji to the Sikh faith and society.
