CMO Restructuring in Haryana: Rajesh Khullar Gets 16 Departments, Raj Nehru Joins as OSD with Key Portfolios

Chandigarh, June 2, 2025:
In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Haryana government on Sunday announced a fresh allocation of responsibilities within the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO). Chief Principal Secretary Rajesh Khullar, who continues to hold a key position under CM Nayab Singh Saini, has now been assigned 16 departments. Earlier, Khullar managed 21 departments, but 5 have now been reassigned to other senior officers.
The reshuffle also marks the formal entry of Raj Nehru as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the CMO. He has been entrusted with three high-impact departments, reflecting CM Saini’s vision of building a more focused and streamlined administrative team.

A retired IAS officer, Khullar has been a key figure in the CMO since the tenure of former CM Manohar Lal Khattar. Under CM Nayab Saini as well, his influence remains intact. His portfolios include:
