Harchand Singh Barsat campaigns for AAP candidate Sanjeev Arora in Ludhiana West
Encourages Party Workers to do Door-to-Door Campaigning

Ludhiana (Punjab), June 5, 2025: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab General Secretary and Punjab Mandi Board Chairman Harchand Singh Barsat campaigned for AAP candidate Sanjeev Arora in the Ludhiana West Assembly constituency. During this time, he also held a meeting with senior party workers.
Barsat urged party volunteers to work with full dedication and in a planned manner to ensure the victory of Sanjeev Arora in the by-election.He motivated them to go door-to-door, and apprise people of Aam Aadmi Party’s policies, welfare initiatives, and the work done by Sanjeev Arora.
Barsat described AAP candidate Sanjeev Arora as an intelligent, honest, and grounded leader.
As a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha, Sanjeev Arora has consistently raised issues concerning the people of Ludhiana and Punjab. His connection with the people and his active participation at the grassroots level are highly commendable.
He further stated that, given the love and trust people have for Sanjeev Arora, it is evident that the Aam Aadmi Party will win the Ludhiana West by-election by a significant margin.
Barsat highlighted the exemplary work done by the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann during its three years in office.
He mentioned that people now receive 300 units of free electricity every month, canal water is being provided to the fields, and youths are getting government jobs without any bribery or recommendations.
Additionally, significant work has been done in the fields of education, health, and administrative reforms.The AAP government in Punjab has also launched a "War Against Drugs" campaign, which is yielding positive results and receiving public support.
Gurmeet Singh from Ward No. 64, Balraj Singh from Ward No. 62, Baljinder Kaur, Sompal, Karan Singh Bhalla, Tarlochan Singh Bedi, Amandeep Singh Bedi, Jaspal Datta, and other volunteers from Ward No. 65 were also present.
