The arrests led to the recovery of two illegal firearms and narcotics: Shivam Sehgal was found in possession of a .30 bore pistol, six live cartridges, and 105.78 grams of heroin and Simranpreet was carrying a .32 bore pistol along with three live cartridges.
The case was initially registered on the complaint of Pavandeep Kaur, wife of the deceased Ashu Monga, under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), NDPS Act, and Arms Act.
