“The launch of Ortech Textiles is a defining moment in Punjab’s industrial narrative,” said Minister Sond while addressing the gathering.
“This unit reflects the kind of commitment we seek from businesses towards local development. Under the leadership of CM Bhagwant Mann, our Invest Punjab Fast-Track Portal is enabling such transformations—approvals are now streamlined, and over 55,000 MSMEs have already registered.”Accompanied by MLA Kulwant Singh, Tynor’s MD Dr. P.J. Singh, and Executive Director A.J. Singh, the Minister praised the group’s vision for expansion.
“What Dr. PJ Singh has achieved in Mohali sets a new benchmark. This is a shining example of how local entrepreneurship, backed by supportive policy, can compete globally,” he added.
From Rs 600 crore to Rs 2,000 crore capacity: Tynor’s Big Leap
Speaking to the media, Dr. P.J. Singh revealed that the group’s production capacity will soar from the current ₹600 crore to ₹2,000 crore, thanks to Ortech’s integration.
“We are expecting to generate 1,000 to 1,500 new jobs, enhance product quality by 25%, and reduce raw material costs by another 25%,” he said.
The facility will produce high-end technical textiles used exclusively by Tynor, reducing foreign import dependency and ensuring competitive pricing without compromising on quality.
Global Aspirations, Local Impact
Executive Director A.J. Singh emphasized employment and growth: “With Ortech, we’re scaling up Tynor Group’s total workforce from 2,500 to 5,000. We are leveraging liberal industrial policies to fuel innovation and aspire to be among the top three global players in orthopaedic aid manufacturing.”
Equipped with state-of-the-art machinery like 3D knitting, jacquard and neoprene laminated fabric machines, Ortech Textiles strengthens Tynor’s vertical integration and gives it a competitive edge in both domestic and international markets.
Already exporting to over 60 countries, Tynor aims to expand to 100 global emerging markets, continuing its leadership in orthopaedic support solutions from Punjab to the world.
