Chandigarh, July 19, 2025:Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring has launched a fierce attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) following the resignation of Anmol Gagan Maan, MLA from Kharar, claiming that the party is “collapsing brick by brick.”
Maan’s exit from both her legislative seat and active politics marks the second major jolt to AAP in less than a month.
Warring questioned Maan’s abrupt decision, noting that just three days ago she had praised Arvind Kejriwal after meeting him, lauding his vision as a source of courage and inspiration. “What happened to that inspiration within three days?” he asked.
The Congress leader also pointed to the recent suspension of Amritsar North MLA Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh, saying that the quick succession of internal fallouts reveals deeper unrest within AAP. “The rate at which AAP MLAs are quitting or being pushed out indicates that the party’s downfall is underway,” Warring stated.
He added that if even elected MLAs feel alienated, ordinary citizens must be feeling even more disillusioned. “When fire breaks out inside the house, it cannot be hidden — the flames are visible everywhere,” he said, summing up the growing instability within the AAP’s Punjab unit.
