Jr students salute soldiers with patriotic visit on Kargil Vijay Diwas
Ferozepur, July 25, 2025: On the solemn occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, the young students of Vivekananda Junior – a primary school in Ferozepur – paid a heartfelt tribute to the brave soldiers of India by visiting the Sector Headquarters of the Border Security Force (BSF).
The children were given a guided tour of the BSF campus, where they observed various departments and gained a deeper understanding of the demanding responsibilities carried out by the Jawans. Highlights of the tour included the Dog Squad training area, departmental stores, and other operational facilities, which captivated the students' interest and curiosity.
The BSF personnel warmly welcomed the young visitors and patiently responded to their enthusiastic questions. In a touching show of gratitude, the children presented handmade Tricolour tags to the soldiers, symbolizing their respect and appreciation for the armed forces.
This educational visit not only fostered a strong sense of patriotism among the students but also helped them understand the sacrifices made by the soldiers in protecting the nation. The school expressed pride in its students for showing such sincere admiration for India’s real-life heroes.
