Haryana gears up for Grand Teej Festival celebration on July 28
State level celebrations to be held in Ambala, CM to attend the function as Chief Guest

Chandigarh, July 26, 2025- Haryana is all set to celebrate the vibrant Teej Festival with traditional fervour and cultural zeal on Monday, July 28, 2025. Colourful swings, folk songs, and joyous gatherings will mark the occasion across all districts of the state.
To make the celebrations more vibrant, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will be the Chief Guest at the state-level celebration scheduled to be held in Ambala. Energy Minister, Anil Vij and Women and Child Development Minister, Shruti Choudhry will also be present.
While, the State Cabinet Ministers will preside over district-level functions. All the other ministers will also join the Chief Minister in Ambala to be part of the festivities.
As per the schedule, Development and Panchayat Minister, Sh.Krishan Lal Panwar will attend the celebrations in Sirsa, while Industry and Commerce Minister, Sh. Rao Narbir Singh, will attend the function in Rewari, School Education Minister, Sh. Mahipal Dhanda will attend the function in Fatehabad, Revenue Minister, Sh.Vipul Goel will attend the function in Jhajjar, Co-operation Minister, Dr. Arvind Sharma will attend the function in Sonipat and Public Health Engineering Minister, Sh. Ranbir Gangwa will attend the function in Hisar. Similarly, Social Justice, Empowerment ,SCs and BCs Welfare and Antyodaya(SEWA) Minister, Sh. Krishan Kumar Bedi, and Health Minister, Kumari Arti Singh Rao will participate in celebrations across Bhiwani and Narnaul respectively. While Deputy Speaker, Haryana Vidhan Sabha, Dr. Krishan Lal Middha will attend the celebrations in Jind.
The Teej Festival is one of Haryana’s most cherished cultural occasions, especially for women, who celebrate by singing folk songs, adorning swings with flowers, and preparing traditional delicacies. The government has directed district administrations to make elaborate arrangements to ensure that the festival is celebrated with full enthusiasm, joy, and community participation.
The celebrations will not only highlight the state’s rich cultural heritage but also provide a platform for women to engage in traditional customs and festivities.
