  Chandigarh, July 29, 2025: Nayab Singh Saini led BJP government has dropped Vikas Barala son of Rajya Sabha MP and former BJP state President Subash Barala as Assitant Advocate General. He was appointed to the post around 10 days but he did not join due to controversy surrounding his 2017 case of stalking Varnika Kundu.
  
  A large section of society was opposing his appointment and now finally decision has come from the government.
