Chandigarh, July 29 , 2025– Reacting to the fiery exchanges in the Lok Sabha over Operation Sindoor, Haryana’s Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister Anil Vij likened the ongoing political debate to a "20-20 cricket match", claiming the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and allies are playing for India, while Congress and its allies are playing for Pakistan.
“The whole country is watching, and we all know the result—India will win,” Vij said.
Vij was also responding to the killing of Suleman Shah alias Moosa, mastermind of the Pahalgam terror attack, during an encounter in Srinagar under Operation Mahadev.
He praised the Indian government’s firm stance against terrorism and said, “Anyone who dares attack the nation’s identity will not be spared.”
Reiterating his strong stance on national security, Vij said, “Terrorist activities in India are carried out by Pakistan. The only difference between the Pakistan Army and terrorists is that the Army wears a uniform and the terrorists don’t.”
He concluded by saying that the Indian government has taught a strong lesson to both Pakistan and the terrorists, reaffirming the country’s resolve to protect its sovereignty at all costs.
