  Sangrur (Punjab), August 8, 2025: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab is facing mounting internal dissent as two more leaders from Sangrur district have resigned in protest against the state government’s controversial Land Pooling Policy.
  
  Those stepping down from the party’s primary membership are:
  1. Harvinder Singh Harry – District Youth Joint Secretary
  2. Gurpreet Singh Guri – Senior Leader
  Their resignation is being viewed as a direct stand against the policy, which has already sparked strong opposition within party ranks.
