Moga students commits suicide after scolded by teacher, Principal among 4 booked

Dharmkot, September 20, 2025: A class 11th student committed suicide by consuming poison after being scolded by teacher in the school. School authorities claim that he was found with a girl in a compromising position after which his name was struck off from school rolls and he was told to bring parents to school.
He went home and consumed poison due to which he lost his life. He was identified as Jashanpreet Singh.
Later on complaint of parents police has booked four teachers including Principal of the school in the matter.
