“We want Hindustan, not Khalistan”, says Raja Warring

Chandigarh, October 13, 2025:Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring made a powerful statement on Monday, asserting that the Congress Party stands firmly for a united India, saying, “We want Hindustan, not Khalistan.”
Speaking on current political developments, Warring said that it is ultimately the people who will decide the kind of leadership they want — whether they prefer leaders working among them or those sitting abroad.
He emphasized that the Congress has made immense sacrifices for the peace and unity of Punjab, adding that the state has already suffered greatly in the past.
“Punjab has endured enough pain. The Congress has always stood for harmony and brotherhood — and we will continue to protect the idea of India,” Warring said.
