  Ropar, October 16, 2025:
  In connection with the case of submitting forged nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha elections, independent candidate Navneet Chaturvedi was produced before the CJM Court, Rupnagar, on Wednesday. The court has remanded him to seven days of police custody for further investigation.
  
  He was arrested by Ropar Police on October 15, 2025 from Chandigarh.
