Tarn Taran (Punjab), November 14, 2025 — The counting of votes for the Tarn Taran Assembly by-election entered its eleventh round on Friday, with the latest trends showing the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) establishing a decisive lead. AAP candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu is now ahead of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) by 9,142 votes.

After the completion of the 11th round, the major parties have secured the following number of votes:
- AAP (Aam Aadmi Party): 29,965 votes
- SAD (Shiromani Akali Dal): 20,823 votes
- Waris Punjab De: 13,142 votes
- Congress: 10,475 votes
- BJP: 4,216 votes
