Chandigarh, December 10, 2025: Former Congress MLA Navjot Kaur Sidhu has once again intensified her attack on Punjab Congress chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, alleging internal sabotage, corruption, and misuse of party positions. In a sharp statement posted on social media, she claimed that “70% of Congress leaders are in touch with her.”
In a series of posts of X, Navjot Kaur accused Warring of repeatedly working against the party’s own candidates and “forcing leaders to leave the Congress.” She alleged that all five MLAs in Amritsar had opposed the person Warring appointed as district president, ignoring several senior party leaders.
She further claimed that those now defending Warring are individuals facing allegations related to corruption, gambling networks and cheque-bounce cases. She questioned why Warring was “protecting” one such leader allegedly linked to a Dussehra case.
Navjot Kaur Sidhu also targeted Warring over his electoral defeats, stating that he lost twice because his priority was “destroying Congress from within” and working in “collusion with opposition parties.”
Referring to Warring’s remarks on her earlier statements, she said her comments were misinterpreted. She reiterated that she never claimed the Congress had demanded money from her, but that she highlighted that she and Navjot Singh Sidhu “do not have ₹500 crore to spend,” in reference to speculation about CM candidates.
She also accused Warring of being removed from organisational roles in Gujarat due to alleged ticket-related irregularities, questioning his income and assets.
