Johal, Mintoo, Ghugni sent to judicial custody
Baghapurana/Moga, November 17, 2017: The court of Judicial Magistrate, Baghapurana on Friday ordered 14-day judicial custody for the British citizen Jagtar Singh Johal who was in the police remand for last 13 days in target killing cases in Punjab.
He was taken into custody by Moga police from Rama Mandi area of Jalandhar on November 4, 2017.
His lawyer Jaspal Singh Manjhpur said the police did not ask the court for more police remand for Johal. The next date of hearing was fixed for November 30, 2017, reported Sikh Siyasat.
The relatives orf Johal were present at the court.
Earlier, Harminder Singh Mintoo and Dharminder Singh Grewal Gugni were sent to Nabha jail on expiry of their police remand.
Another alleged accused in the target killings Hardeep Singh Shera’s police remand also expired on Friday.
