Diet is the sum of food consumed by a person and Dietary habits are the habitual decisions an individual makes when choosing what foods to eat.
The word diet often implies the use of specific intake of nutrition for health or weight-management. Each culture and each person holds some food preferences or some food taboos.
This may be due to personal tastes or ethical reasons. Dietary habits and choices play a significant role in the quality of life, health and longevity.
Eating a balanced diet means choosing a wide variety of foods and drinks from all the food groups. A disease is an abnormal condition affecting the body of an organism.
In humans, "disease" is often used more broadly to refer to any condition that causes pain, dysfunction, distress and social problems.
In broader sense, it sometimes includes injuries, disabilities, disorders, syndromes, infections, isolated symptoms, deviant behaviours and typical variations of structure and function.
There are various misconceptions and myths about intake of food. The most common is “eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a poor person”.
Another beliefs are like “eat many small meals in the day to boost metabolism” , “Cereal is the healthiest way to start the Day”, “animal food and dairy products are good for health”, “six to eight hours sleep is must”, “one should drink about 8-10 glasses of water every day to hydrate the body”, “don’t skip breakfast”, “take food less than your hunger”, “vegetarian or vegan diet lack enough protein for adequate nutrition”,“spicy food causes ulcers”, “carrots improve vision and so on”.
However, some of these health care advises have been accepted by the environment whereas others lack sufficient evidence to support.
Nowadays, there has been lot of health awareness among people and they are spending lot of time on improving their health.
Government has also initiated various programmes in order to create awareness about common ailments and preventive measures required to be taken by the people including ill effects of smoking/tobacco/drinking etc.
But the fact remains that India’s existing healthcare infrastructure is just not enough to meet the needs of the population. The central and state governments do offer universal healthcare services and free treatment and essential drugs at government hospitals but the hospitals are understaffed and under-financed, forcing patients to visit private medical practitioners and hospitals.
Private hospitals in India are having World-class technology, the best treatment and ace infrastructure with skilful and experienced doctors in their hospitals.
These hospitals have got their branches all over India but even then they are not been able to provide medical cover to all due to shortage of medical facilities and infrastructure especially in rural areas.
Most people in India can neither afford treatment at private hospitals due to expensive treatment nor can they avail complete treatment in government hospitals due to non availability of required medical facilities, staff and funds.
A new trend has emerged where people are getting attracted towards Ayurveda treatment, not because it is an ancient way of healing but because of availability of Ayurveda stores in every nook and corner of the country with free medical consultancy.
People have become aware that human body has been designed by nature to live a healthy life more than hundred years without any disease.
Nature has created us, so the power to heal us is within nature itself.
Nature has designed our body and digestive system for vegetarian diet and not for animal diet.
Our body has a wonderful defence mechanism, but it needs to be constantly serviced. Till now many doctors/people across the world have carried out various studies on nutrition/natural lifestyle and Mr. B. V. Chauhan from Gujrat is one of them.
He is a promoter of NEW DIETARY SYSTEM and has explained that toxins are the major causes of diseases in comparison to pollution, pesticides, germs, bacteria, virus, stress and various modern lifestyle related issues.
Hence detoxification of the body and cleansing of colon with the help of plain water enema is must. The consumption of raw food and fasting results in detoxification and removal of existing diseases from the body.
Fasting is a powerful weapon to detoxify our body. During fasting, energy which is otherwise utilized for digestion, is instead used for the restoration of body, i.e. repair, cell growth and improving the immune system.
Besides, when you fast, there are less fats in blood, so the blood thins down and promotes a better absorption and transportation of oxygen and nutrients resulting in overall rejuvenation.
Fasting also improves mental alertness and reduces overall toxicity. By fasting regularly, we will not only give our organs a rest but also slow down the aging process.
Following lifestyle modifications are recommended under the New Diet System:
(a) Fasting till 12 noon where one has to neither eat nor drink anything. It will repair and detoxify the body. While fasting one has to take enema to clean the colon. People on medicine should take their prescribed medicines after 2 pm only as they will be empty stomach till 12 noon.
They should reduce their medicines on improvement of their diseases which can be found out through regular checks/investigations.
People having diabetes should take a special note of it and should reduce their medicines on reduction of their blood sugar levels for which they have to get their sugar levels checked every day.
(b) From 12 noon till evening – Have one/two glasses of raw green leafy vegetables juice at 12.15 pm and don’t take anything thereafter for next two hours. Subsequently, you can have raw fresh seasonal fruits/vegetables as and when you feel hungry. The consumption of raw food and fasting will result into detoxification and removal of existing diseases from the body.
(c) Dinner: Have home-made cooked food of your choice, however avoid animal food, milk and milk products.
I can say with complete conviction and assurance that one can remove all his existing diseases like common cold , mild acidity, chronic constipation, obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure , severe arthritis and many more from his body by adopting above New Diet System.
I have experienced myself the effects of this new diet system and the same have been found to be the ultimate.
It is a time tested system where more than 15 crore people in India and abroad have been benefited and the proof of the same are available on the net and YouTube.
Though this system is very popular in some parts of India especially Gujrat and places around it but very few people from North India are aware of this system.
