  Patiala (Punjab), March 21, 2025: In a prestigious ceremony at Montage Hotel, Patiala, Dr. Satyen Sharma, a renowned psychiatrist, was unanimously elected as the President of the Patiala Management Association (PMA) for a two-year term until 2027. He succeeds Vaid Manu Vats, the outgoing president.
  
  Founded in 1997, the Patiala Management Association (PMA) was established by leading industrialists, academicians, senior executives, and professional managers to create a platform for knowledge exchange and professional growth.
  
  PMA operates as a Local Management Association (LMA) under the All India Management Association (AIMA), which has been the apex body for management professionals in India since 1957.
  
  AIMA, a not-for-profit organization, collaborates with industry leaders, government, academia, and students to advance management practices nationwide.
  
  The new team of office bearers and the Executive Council will be announced later this month as Dr. Sharma prepares to lead PMA into its next phase of professional and industrial engagement.
