Chandigarh, September 14, 2025: Rapido, India’s leading bike-taxi platform, hosted a special Rewards and Recognition Programme at Hotel Pearl, Chandigarh, to honor its Captains.
Chandigarh Mayor Mrs. Harpreet Kaur Babla, the Chief Guest, felicitated 50 top-performing Captains for their exceptional service. Around 250–300 Captains attended the event and shared their inspiring journeys.
“Rapido is not just creating jobs for youth but also contributing to the city’s growth and mobility,” said Mayor Babla.
“The dedication of our Captains is Rapido’s biggest strength. This recognition reflects their hard work,” added Aakash Mehta, Zonal Head, Rapido.
Founded in 2015, Rapido today operates in over 295 cities, delivering nearly 45 lakh rides daily with a network of more than 50 lakh Captains.
