Panchkula (Haryana), April 9, 21025: In a thrilling match, 'Sneakin Golfers outplayed 'Clubs on Flames' with a score of 40–32 in the Group A match played on the second day of the Aeroplaza Panchkula Golf League (APGL) at the Panchkula Golf Club on Wednesday.
The action-packed league features even more thrilling matches ahead, which will run until April 23, 2025A total of 16 teams, divided into groups—Group A and Group B—with 8 teams each, are competing for the coveted trophy.
In another exciting Group A contest, 'ADS Falcons' defeated 'Fantastic Fours' by a margin of 5, with a score of 37–32. Continuing their winning streak, 'Victory Waves' triumphed over 'Aces by Vintage Buildtech' with a commanding margin of 48–27.
Meanwhile, 'Golfing Panthers' clinched victory in a thrilling contest by defeating 'Highland Kings' with a 7-point margin, 39–33.
Meanwhile, in Group B, 'Tee Birds' defeated 'Raging Bulls' in a close contest with a margin of 4 points, finishing with a total score of 34–31. Following suit, 'Green Warriors' triumphed over 'Par-Tee Crashers' with a score of 40–31. In another exciting match, 'Shivalik Swingers' defeated 'Hansa Legends' by a margin of 5 points, with a score of 38–33. in the final match of Group B- 'Golfing Eagles' won against 'Tee Titans' 43-35.
The golf league which is being managed by Digraj Golf Inc. is slated to see an action-packed lineup of matches till April 23, 2025.
The league’s maiden edition is seeing the participation of 16 teams, that have been categorized into two groups—A and B—comprising 8 teams each.It is noteworthy that the tournament is being held in two stages: The Round Robin stage followed by the Knockout Stage.
Currently, the round-robin stage is on. The knockout stage shall start with the quarters that will take place on April 18, the semi-finals will be held on Apr 20 and the finals shall be played out on April 23.
