Breaking: Five IPS officers promoted to the rank of DIG

Chandigarh, June 24, 2025: The Punjab government has promoted five IPS officers to the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police (Level 13-A of the Pay Matrix) with immediate effect.
Among those who are promoted are IPS Nanak Singh (Dr), IPS Gaurav Garg (On Central Deputation), IPS Deepak Hilori (On Central Deputation), IPS Gurmit Singh Chauhan, IPS Naveen Saini.
