  Breaking: AAP MLA arrested in Punjab

  Chandigarh, September 10, 2025: Punjab Police on Tuesday arrested Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Manjinder Singh Lalpura in connection with the 2013 Usma case.
  
  The case pertains to an incident at a wedding function in which a girl was allegedly molested and later assaulted. Lalpura, along with six others, has been held guilty by the court.
  
  The court has fixed September 12 for pronouncing the sentence in the matter.
