Chandigarh: Amrik Singh Saini, ward 8 MC contestant joins AAP

Chandigarh, May 14, 2024: Amrik Singh Saini, who contested the 2021 Municipal Corporation elections as an independent candidate from Ward 8, Chandigarh, joined AAP along with his team from village Raipur Khurd and announced that India Alliance candidate Manish Tiwari will win the election by a huge margin.
Chairman Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board and co-in-charge of AAP Chandigarh, Dr. SS Ahluwalia welcomed everyone on joining AAP and said that the AAP family in Chandigarh is growing day by day. It is clear from this that the people of Chandigarh are very angry with the last 10 years of BJP's tenure, the people of Chandigarh were not heard during the tenure of BJP. BJP has made all the villages of Chandigarh worse in terms of development.
He further said that there is a lot of enthusiasm among the people of Chandigarh regarding the Lok Sabha elections, the people of Chandigarh are in a hurry to remove BJP from power. The people of Chandigarh are giving huge support to India Alliance candidate Manish Tiwari. It is clear from the enthusiasm of the city residents that Manish Tiwari will defeat the BJP candidate by a huge margin.
Dr. Ahluwalia said that in every meeting of Manish Tiwari, the people of Chandigarh are talking about teaching a lesson to BJP. City residents say that democracy was murdered by BJP during the Mayor elections and Chandigarh city, for which the people of Chandigarh will never forgive BJP.
On this occasion, senior AAP leader Bikram Dhawan, Dr. Harmeet Singh, Councilor Prem Lata, Councilor Hardeep Singh, Rajwinder Singh, Ravi Mani, Jarnail Singh, former Zilla Parishad member Tajinder Singh, former Panch Sohan Singh, Ram Singh, Gurmeet Singh and Hardeep Singh were present.
Those who joined the AAP include independent candidates from Ward 8 in the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation elections in 2021, Amrik Singh Saini, Surinder Singh, Baljeet Singh, Harjinder Singh, Manpreet Kaur, Nirmal Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Prakash Singh, Rinku, Karam Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Lovepreet Singh, Sandeep Singh, Daljeet Singh, Dharminder Singh, Surjeet Singh, Gurbachan Singh, Raj Bala Kaur, Sarabjit Kaur, Baljinder Kaur, Manisha Rani and Sobha Rani.
