Chandigarh, September 10, 2026: For the first time in Tamil Nadu, a book explaining Sikh philosophy, titled "Captivating Simple Hearts", has been published.
Originally written in English by Bhajan Singh, the book has been translated into Tamil by Advocate Sardar Jeevan Singh. The book was released today among academics, with former University Vice-Chancellor Jawahar Nesan releasing it alongside senior educators, social reformers, and feminists.
Speaking at the event, attendees noted that Tamil Nadu currently lacks institutions or ideological frameworks capable of teaching strong political and cultural virtues. They expressed confidence that this book will bring about a major transformation in the state in the coming years.
Many participants at the event stated that the Sikh identity completely rejects Hindutva and Brahminical ideologies. Ultimately, the gathering decided to actively promote Sikh philosophy across Tamil Nadu both politically and culturally.
