HAMC hosts Food Expo during 10th Ayurveda Day Week
Ferozepur, September 20, 2025: As part of the nationwide 10th Ayurveda Day celebrations, observed this year from 16–23 September 2025 on the theme “Ayurveda for People and Planet,” Harmony Ayurvedic Medical College (HAMC), Ferozepur, organized a vibrant Food Expo and Women’s Health Awareness Lecture.
This year’s Ayurveda Week carries special significance following the Government of India’s landmark decision to enhance global visibility of the ancient healing science by designating 23 September as the fixed date for Ayurveda Day every year.
The event at Harmony College was held under the guidance of Director Yogesh Bansal and inaugurated by Chairman Dharmpal Bansal and Kiran Bansal, Member Management. Special guests included CA Priyanka Jain, Member Management, and Shalu Nandan, Principal of Euro Kids School, Ferozepur, whose presence added distinction to the celebration.
Students showcased a variety of Ayurvedic dietary preparations at attractive stalls and received cash awards from the management for their enthusiastic participation.
A lecture on women’s health was delivered by Dr. Varsha, Assistant Professor, Department of Gynecology, while Dr. Sahil Guleria, Assistant Professor, Department of Rasa Shastra, presented an insightful talk on Ayurvedic formulations—both sessions earning appreciation from attendees.
College Administrator Sameer Gupta played a key role in coordinating the program, with wholehearted support from the teaching faculty. Principal Dr. Suman Lata extended heartfelt thanks to the distinguished guests and acknowledged the contributions of Dr. Simarpreet Kaur, Dr. Rashmi, and Dr. Sahil Guleria for the success of the event.
