Haryana Govt intensifies crackdown on illegal mining in Faridabad

Chandigarh, March 4, 2025 – The Haryana Mining Department is conducting round-the-clock monitoring of mining activities along the Yamuna River and other locations in Faridabad to curb illegal mining and mineral transportation without e-way bills.
As per the directives of Director General of Mining, K.M. Pandurang, a dedicated team is actively inspecting vehicles carrying minerals on national and state highways.

District Mining Officer Kamlesh Bidhlan stated that no illegal mining has been detected so far, but strict action will be taken if violations are found. The government remains committed to eliminating illegal mining and ensuring strict compliance with regulations.
