IndianOil donates 1000 bedside units for Thalassemia patients in Hoshiarpur

Hoshiarpur (Punjab), July 25, 2025: As part of its ongoing commitment to community health and welfare, the Northern Region Pipelines (NRPL) unit of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Una, donated 1000 bedside components for thalassemic patients to the Civil Hospital, Hoshiarpur, under its flagship CSR initiative, Project Arogya Dhara.
The donation was formally handed over to the hospital through Aashika Jain, Deputy Commissioner of Hoshiarpur (Pb), in the presence of Seema Garg, District immunization Officer, Hoshiarpur, reaffirming IndianOil's dedication to healthcare support for vulnerable sections of society.
These components will be used primarily for thalassemia-affected children who require regular blood transfusions and long-term care.
Speaking on the occasion, Amandeep Bhardwaj, Senior Operations Manager from NRPL Una, emphasized that IndianOil’s Project Arogya Dhara is aimed at supporting critical healthcare infrastructure and enhancing the quality of treatment provided in public health facilities.
The initiative reflects IndianOil’s commitment to ensuring equitable access to care and improving treatment outcomes for children battling chronic illnesses such as thalassemia.
Aashika Jain appreciated IndianOil's generous support and stated that such collaborations between the government and public sector undertakings are essential to strengthen the healthcare delivery system at the grassroots level.
This initiative underscores IndianOil’s broader vision of contributing to nation-building through sustainable and inclusive CSR programs that create lasting social impact.
