Infosys to invest Rs 300 crore in Mohali; 2,500 jobs planned, says Minister Sanjeev Arora
Chandigarh, September 25, 2025: Infosys Ltd will expand its Mohali operations with an estimated Rs 300 crore investment, creating 2,500 direct jobs and around 210 indirect opportunities, Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora announced. The move, aligned with Punjab’s push to accelerate industry and commerce, builds on Infosys’ presence in Mohali since 2017 where about 900 employees currently work.

Phase 1 envisages 300,000 sq ft of office and ancillary space, targeted to complete within three years post approvals, with construction set to commence on November 5 (Gurpurab).

The building will pursue LEED Platinum certification, with Phase 2 adding a further 480,000 sq ft over five years after Phase 1 completion and requisite clearances.
