Jasleen Kaur has assumed the charge of Superintendent of Police (SP) in Dabwali. Taking charge on Saturday, she steps into her new position with a reputation for decisive officer and a commitment to effective law enforcement.
Prior to this appointment, she served as the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Jhajjar, where she earned accolades for her firm and result-oriented approach to policing.
In her inaugural address, SP Jasleen Kaur outlined her priorities for the region, focusing on tackling organized crime, combating drug abuse, curbing cybercrime, reducing road accidents, and ensuring the safety of women.
With a clear vision for the future, she pledged to dismantle criminal networks comprehensively, leaving no room for accomplices or enablers. Her strong stance against crime reflects her dedication to promote a safer and more secure environment for the residents of Dabwali.
Recognizing the importance of community-oriented policing, Jasleen Kaur emphasized the need for police personnel to enhance their visibility in public spaces.
She urged officers to conduct frequent patrols, enforce traffic regulations strictly, and engage with the public in an approachable and respectful manner. “The relationship between the police and the community is built on trust and mutual respect,” she stated. “It is imperative that we treat the public with dignity while ensuring law and order.”
She plans to work closely with community leaders, educators, and healthcare professionals to implement preventive measures and rehabilitation programs. “Drug abuse is not just a law enforcement issue; it is a social challenge that requires a collective response,” she remarked.
Cybercrime is another area that Jasleen Kaur intends to tackle with urgency. As technology continues to evolve, so do the methods employed by cybercriminals. She has vowed to equip her team with advanced training and resources to address this growing threat effectively.
Road safety also features prominently on her agenda. With an alarming number of road accidents reported in recent years, she has instructed officers to strictly enforce traffic regulations and educate the public about safe driving practices. Her goal is to create safer roads for all commuters in Dabwali.
Ensuring the safety of women remains a cornerstone of her strategy. Jasleen Kaur plans to implement measures that provide women with greater security in public spaces while addressing crimes such as harassment and domestic violence.
She believes that empowering women and ensuring their safety are essential steps toward building a more equitable society.
