Major Pardeep Kumar trains IAS Trainers at LBSNAA Mussoorie
Mussoorie, January 24, 2025: Major Pardeep Kumar, a nationally recognized trainer and resource person for the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), successfully conducted a prestigious five-day residential "Train the Trainer" program at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, from January 20 to January 24.
The program, titled "Direct Training Skills," was part of the Trainer Development Program organized by DoPT, the apex body responsible for training Central and State administrative officers. Major Pardeep Kumar, who has earned immense respect as a trainer in Punjab over the years, was entrusted with this significant responsibility, which he fulfilled with dedication and excellence.
Speaking about the program, Major Kumar expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to train those who, in turn, shape the future of IAS officers at India’s premier training institution. He highlighted the honour of conducting a program designed by West London University, which enjoys global recognition.
The program saw the participation of 18 officers from various fields, including six IAS officers (three of whom were Deputy Directors of LBSNAA), geologists from the Geological Survey of India, a CBI Additional Superintendent of Police from the CBI Academy Ghaziabad, and senior officials from training institutes across India. Participants also included officers from the National Academy of Direct Taxes, National Institute of Defence Estate Management, Indian Railways, and other esteemed organizations.
Major Kumar noted that the initiative aimed to enhance the training and teaching skills of senior trainers and educators from prominent institutions. Reflecting on his success, he credited his family for their constant motivation and support.
