Orientation Program 'Prarambh 2025' for freshers underway at CGC Landran

Chandigarh, July 21, 2025: 'Prarambh-2025,' a three-day orientation program, commenced on campus at CGC Landran today.
It marks the beginning of CGC's 25th academic session and facilitates the welcome and induction of new students from different states across the country, who would be pursuing courses in Engineering, Business Management, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Hotel Management, at the institution.
The event began with the lamp lighting ceremony invoking the blessings of the almighty.
Afterwards, the freshers accompanied by their parents and guardians were accorded a warm welcome by the entire CGC fraternity led by Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, CGC Landran, Dr. Rajdeep Singh, Campus Director, CGC Landran, Deans and Directors of the college.
Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, CGC Landran extended a hearty welcome to the incoming students and assured them of CGC's commitment towards their career progression by providing the best of academic experience and opportunities for their overall personality development.
Underscoring CGC's legacy of robust placements, year on year, he reiterated the institution's commitment to continue enhancing student outcomes through strong industry collaborations, focus on research, innovation and nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset.
He concluded his remarks by encouraging the students to work hard and excel in everything they do and extending his best wishes to them for the new academic year.
The orientation sessions further saw the new students being acquainted with the significant aspects of college life, including the curriculum, attendance requirements, student achievements, campus placements, international alliances, research and innovation among others.
