  Chandigarh, November 27, 2025: Punjab Government has refused parole to jailed MP Amritpal Singh.
  
  According to reports, based on Amritsar Deputy Commissioner and Police Commissioner report, Punjab Government has said that if he is released on parole it will create law and order problem in the state.
  
  It is worth mentioning here that Punjab and Haryana High Court had directed Punjab Government to take a call on parole of Amritpal Singh within a week.
