Punjab Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences to hold Liver Health Camp on July 27 at Mohali

In recognition of World Hepatitis Day, the Punjab Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (PILBS), Mohali, the first super-speciality institute dedicated to liver care, is going to organize a Liver Health Camp on July 27, 2024, at 9 AM in the OPD premises of the institute.
Divulging the details, the Director, Dr Virendra Singh said that the camp will offer services such as FibroScan, Hepatitis B and C screening, ultrasound abdomen and hepatology consultation for Rs. 1000. Additionally, to mark this significant day, PILBS will conduct a Walkathon at Sukhna Lake on 28th July 2024, at 6 AM, aiming to raise awareness about hepatitis, its prevention, and the importance of early diagnosis and treatment. The theme of this year is "Take action. Test, treat, vaccinate". These events highlight the PILBS's commitment to promoting liver health and engaging the community in crucial health discussions.
