  Bhopal, June 11, 2026: National General Secretary of BJP and prominent leader from Punjab Tarun Chugh has been elected Rajya Sabha member from Madhya Pradesh unopposed. He was fielded by BJP.
  
  His election has come at a time when BJP has not re-nominated Ravneet Singh Bittu whose Rajya Sabha term has expired but he continues to be Minister of State for Railways in Union Council of Ministers.
