Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra commences in rural areas of Ferozepur
VBSY to raise awareness and facilitate welfare scheme benefits

Ferozepur, November 26, 2023: In order to bring the benefits of various welfare schemes of the Central Government to every section, today under the "Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra" (VBSY) campaign, a district-level program was organized at the village of Barhe Ke, with the dispatch of the van, to go from village to village to make people aware about the welfare schemes of the Central Government.
On this occasion, MLA Ferozepur Urban Ranbir Singh Bhullar attended as the chief guest. Meanwhile, Joint Secretary Education Ministry Amarpreet Duggal was also especially present.
MLA Ranbir Singh Bhullar said that as part of this "Viksat Bharat Sankalp Yatra" these vans will campaign in the villages of different blocks and the van will cover two villages every day to educate people about the various schemes being run by the government. He said that more such initiatives will be taken in the future so that our people can know about the welfare schemes being run by the government and they can take advantage of these schemes. He also informed that the "Vikast Bharat Sankalp Yatra" campaign has been launched for the whole of India from 15 November 2023 and will continue till 26 January 2024. Meanwhile, people will be made aware during the campaign about various schemes being run by the Government of India in 2.50 lakh Gram Panchayats and urban areas. He said that a maximum number of people should benefit from the welfare schemes run by the government.
Amarpreet Duggal said these vans, information will be provided regarding the various schemes being run by the Government of India, such as from filling out forms to getting benefits. Apart from this, people will be made aware through screenshots, films, plays, skits, songs, speeches, cultural programs, distribution of literature, books, reading material, etc. Today, on the first day in the district, these vans will be used to sensitize people about Ferozepur and village Hazara Singh Wala.
Meanwhile, the message of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi was also shown and read to the people through the screen, and the people present and the officials also took oath for the development of Bharat. During this event, school children also presented a play giving the message of maintaining the fertility of the earth and not using pesticides. After this, the use of ‘nano urea’ was shown to the farmers through a drone, and the farmers were also encouraged to use it. During this event, stalls were also set up by various departments where the forms of the needy were filled, Ayushman cards were made and other facilities were provided.
On this occasion, ADC (G) Dr. Nidhi Kumad Bamba, ADC(D) Arun Kumar Sharma, DDPO Dr. Jaswant Singh Baraich, Civil Surgeon Meenakshi Dhingra, DEO Chamkaur Singh Saran, L.D.M. Geeta Mehta, Naib Tehsildar Navjeevan Chhabra, Secretary Red Cross Ashok Behal, Principal Dr. Satinder Singh, Sandeep Kumar, officers of various departments were also present.
