Navjot Sidhu hoists black flag atop his house to support Kisan Morcha
Chandigarh, May 25, 2021:
Congress MLA Navjot Sidhu has hoisted a black flag atop his house on Tuesday to express his anger against the three agri laws.
Sidhu also appealed to all Punjabis to support the farmers’ protest by hoisting black flags on their houses.
He has uploaded a video on Twitter in which he along with his wife, Navjot Kaur Sidhu can be seen. Sidhu said, “For the past 20-25 years, farmers of the country are under debt as their income keeps decreasing. These factors forced the farmers to hold a massive protest against the central government.”
Talking about three farm laws, Sidhu expressed that the three farm laws will make the situation of farmers even worse. He said the laws will kick the stomach of laborers and small farmers.
“I totally oppose three farm laws of the centre as well as the current system. Punjab will never rise again if the debt on farmers keep on increasing,” said Navjot Sidhu while adding that “This black flag will keep hoisting on my house until the farm laws are repealed.”
It is to be noted that on Wednesday (May 26), the farmers of Kisan Morcha will observe the day as 'kala divas' to mark completion of six months of their massive protest.
