Directors of Healthcare company booked by UT police for fraud and forgery

Chandigarh police booked the owners of Atulaya Healthcare Pvt Ltd (an investee company of the Tata group) for allegedly duping a Sector 11 resident by making a fake rent agreement on Monday.
The accused have been identified as Pankaj Kumar Kansil, resident of Sector 20 and Anuj Gupta, resident of Sector 30.
On the complaint of Vinod Kumar Singla, the police initiated an investigation against the directors of Atulaya Healthcare.
Single said in his complaint that the duo accused conspired and first forged a rent agreement in one of their sister concern M/S STEADFAST HEALTHCARE PVT LTD in which they are the Directors, to claim an illegal stake on the complainant’s property. They then went on to make a rent receipt, again forging the signature of the complainant. The accused also forged the signature of the complainant on various other documents. Pankaj Kansil and Anuj Gupta also used these forged and fake documents in the Registrar of Companies office to substantiate their possession of the complainant's property.
Notably, Atulaya Healthcare is a Chandigarh-based company engaged in providing Diagnostic services. It is reported that Tata Group has recently made substantial investments in Atulaya Healthcare Pvt Ltd. Further, the representatives of Tata Group are also on the Board of Directors of Atulaya Healthcare Pvt Ltd.
The UT police has registered a case under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code at the Police Station Sector 11.
