Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) of Customs, IGI Airport, New Delhi recovers 10 Kg Gold from two travelers

New Delhi, February 6, 2025: Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) of Customs, IGI Airport, New Delhi intercepted two male passengers (aged 45, 43 years) belonging to Kashmir, arriving from Milan via Flight AI-138 on 05.02.2025. A personal search of the passengers led to the discovery of 10.092 kg of gold, valued at approximately Rs 7.8 Crores. The passengers have been detained for further investigation under the Customs Act, 1962.
