Patiala (Punjab), April 11, 2025: In a fresh development in the Colonel Bath case, Jaswinder Kaur Bath, wife of the late Pushpinder Singh Bath, has appealed to the Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) to transfer four suspended police inspectors out of the Patiala zone, citing serious threats to her family's safety.
In her letter dated April 10, 2025, Jaswinder Kaur alleged that the four inspectors — Shaminder Singh, Harjinder Singh Dhillon, Harry Boparai, and Rauni Singh — were responsible for a deadly assault on her husband Pushpinder Singh and their son Angad Singh.
The attack allegedly took place on the night of March 13–14, 2025, at Rajindra Hospital in Patiala.
Following the incident, the police officers were suspended, but Jaswinder Kaur insists their continued presence in the Patiala zone poses a direct threat to her family’s security.
She has urged the DGP to immediately relocate the officers to ensure impartiality in the investigation and to safeguard her family's well-being.
