  Kapurthala (Punjab), April 11, 2025: The Punjab Government has suspended Dr. Richa Bhatia, the Civil Surgeon of Kapurthala, with immediate effect.
  
  The action has been taken by the Health and Family Welfare Department following complaints regarding her alleged misconduct and uncooperative attitude toward staff.
