Amritsar (Punjab), April 13, 2025: After being re-elected as the President of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), Sardar Sukhbir Singh Badal today offered prayers at Golden Temple, Sri Akal Takht Sahib, and Gurdwara Sri Atal Rai Sahib to express his gratitude.
At Sri Akal Takht Sahib, the Head Granthi offered special prayers for thanksgiving and for the Chardi Kala (high spirits) of the party and its leadership.
Following the prayer, in the presence of Singh Sahib Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Ji Garjgaj at the Secretariat of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, the party president and senior leadership recited Mool Mantar and Gurmantra and engaged in Panthic discussions with the Jathedar.
On this occasion, the Jathedar presented Sukhbir Singh Badal with a Sirpaao (robe of honour), along with literature on Sikh Rehat Maryada and other religious texts, as a mark of respect and encouragement for his continued leadership in Panthic service.
