Babushahi Bureau
Chandigarh, April 14, 2025 – Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Monday hailed the beginning of a transformative era in the state’s development, calling it a “new direction and a new momentum” under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the strength of a “Triple Engine Government.”
The Chief Minister was speaking at the ‘Sankalp Ki Udaan’ ceremony in Hisar, marking two major milestones: the inauguration of air services from Maharaja Agrasen Airport to Ayodhya, and the foundation stone laying of Terminal-2 on the auspicious 135th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
Calling the day “historic,” CM Saini said, “Today, we celebrate not only a milestone in Haryana’s infrastructure but also a leap toward inclusive growth. The launch of regular flights from Hisar to key cities and the upcoming second terminal mark Haryana’s commitment to becoming a key player in India’s development story.”
He added that this expansion of air connectivity — long a dream for the common man — is now a reality thanks to Prime Minister Modi’s visionary UDAN scheme. “From Ayodhya to Ahmedabad, Jammu to Jaipur — Haryana is now better connected to the rest of the country,” he said.
"Triple Engine" of Progress
The Chief Minister emphasized that the combined strength of Central, State, and Local leadership — which he dubbed a “Triple Engine Government” — is fast-tracking development across all sectors in Haryana.
He proudly noted that 19 promises from the BJP’s latest Sankalp Patra have been fulfilled in just the first 100 days, with work underway on many others.
Cultural Roots, Modern Wings
Speaking of Hisar’s cultural and historical legacy, Saini reminded the gathering that the region has long stood as a symbol of hard work, sacrifice, and heritage — from the ancient site of Rakhi Garhi to Agroha, the land of Maharaja Agrasen. “This land now sees the light of education and the wings of progress,” he said.
Empowering Women and Youth
Highlighting key welfare schemes, CM Saini announced the Lado Laxmi Yojana, aimed at empowering girls and women, with a ₹5,000 crore allocation in the state budget. He affirmed Haryana’s commitment to being a major contributor to the Prime Minister’s vision of making India a developed nation by 2047.
The Chief Minister also recalled PM Modi’s 2024 visit to Hisar, thanking the people of Haryana for fulfilling the pledge to elect a BJP government for a third consecutive term. “This trust is a reflection of the leadership, intent, and inclusive policies of the Central Government,” he said.
Conclusion
With new flights connecting Hisar to major destinations and ambitious infrastructure projects underway, CM Saini declared that Haryana’s journey into a new era of growth has officially taken off.
