Chandigarh University organizes 'CU Fest-2025' concludes amid spectacle of Art, Culture and Competition
Fashion Show, Battle of Bands & Dance Performances Steal the Show on Concluding day of ‘CU Fest – 2025’ Chandigarh University

Chandigarh, April 22, 2025: On the second and concluding day of ‘CU Fest 2025’, the students of Chandigarh University showcased their talent and delivered artistic performances in various competitions including Duet Dance, Fashion Show, Solo Dance, Folk Dance (Solo), Debate, Indian Group Song, Western Group Song, Cartooning, Mehndi, Face Painting, Poster Making, Special Act - One Act Play, Mimicry, Debate and Battle of Bands.
Mamta Rani Agarwal, Advisor-I in AICTE and Former Additional Secretary, Association of Indian Universities (AIU) graced the occasion as Chief Guest.The Advisor to Chancellor Chandigarh University Professor Dr RS Bawa, among other dignitaries from the varsity, were also present on the occasion.
A soulful musical performance by popular Bollywood playback singer Jubin Nautiyal in the evening remained the major attraction for students on the concluding day of the fest.
A large gathering of students danced to the electrifying music and melodious rendition by the singer. Later, ramp walk by students in different Indian and western attires during the final competition of the fashion show stole the show.
Moreover, as many as 60 students who brought laurels to Chandigarh University with their emphatic performances at national and international level competitions in theatre, literary, fine arts, modelling, music and dance, were felicitated with ‘Artist Achievement Awards 2025’ and Rs 10 lakh cash prizes.
More than 2,000 students participated in 32 competitions in six different categories including Fine Arts, Theatre, Literary, Modelling, Music and Dance in the day-long festival. The winners of all the competitions were given prizes by the chief guest and other dignitaries present at the occasion.
