Chandigarh, September 30, 2025 – The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Chandigarh, has issued a rain alert for the Tricity region.
According to the IMD’s update at 9:30 pm, light rain accompanied by thunder is likely to occur over parts of Chandigarh, SAS Nagar (Mohali), Panchkula, and adjoining areas during the next 2–3 hours.
Residents have been advised to stay alert and take necessary precautions.
