Speakers said the Sangh, founded in 1925, has completed a century of community service, giving a message of unity and social harmony while teaching respect for all religions and strengthening cultural values.
They noted that the centenary was being observed nationwide, with Ludhiana Central hosts underscoring that participation cut across political lines and social groups, and that the organization has worked to connect people over the last 100 years.
Addressing the event, Gurdev Sharma Debi, Kamal Chauhan, and Ashok Prashar Pappi highlighted the RSS emphasis on collective responsibility and cultural continuity, adding that the celebration reflects wide public participation and support.
Notably, AAP MLA attended the RSS function amid his Party MP Sanjay Singh's attack on the RSS accusing the organisation of betraying India’s independence movement and excluding Dalits, Adivasis, backward castes, and women from its leadership.
