New Delhi, November 28, 2025: Radio India CEO Maninder Singh Gill has expressed gratitude to the Delhi Police following the arrest of Mansingh Sekhon, a key suspect linked to the Goldy Dhillon–Lawrence Bishnoi gang, in connection with the firing incidents at comedian Kapil Sharma’s Kaps Cafe in Surrey, Canada.
Delhi Police officials confirmed that Sekhon played a crucial role in facilitating the attacks, which took place three times between July and October this year. Investigators revealed that Sekhon allegedly arranged weapons and a vehicle used in the July 10 shooting, after which he fled Canada in August to evade law enforcement.
During the arrest, the police recovered a Chinese-made pistol and cartridges from his possession. Authorities also stated that Sekhon is wanted in multiple criminal cases.
Maninder Singh Gill praised the swift action and coordination of Delhi Police, noting that the arrest is a significant step toward ensuring justice and curbing transnational gang activities.
